Cherokee Valley Farm
Cherokee Valley Farm is a hunter jumper training facility located in Lansing, Kansas. CVF has been serving the beginner rider, to the more advanced rider, to those wanting to compete in the "A" Circuit since 1989. All CVF employees are family and friends, and we care for our horses in the best way possible. Riders at CVF have access to a year round 75x152 indoor arena, and a large outdoor arena for the warmer months. Riders also may take their horses back on the 40 acre trail, through the field, between the trees, and around the pond behind the farm. There are two barns where riders can board their own horses, and two tack rooms in each barn. The tack rooms in the main barn have assigned lockers with saddle racks for riders to store all of their tack. The main barn also has a bathroom and viewing room where parents and guests can watch lessons. Both barns are equipped with at least one pair of cross ties, and there is an indoor washrack in the main barn and an outdoor wash rack at the other barn.
There is always someone at Cherokee Valley Farm 24/7 to check up on and take care of all the horses. Trainer, Debbie Morrison, and her husband Dale, along with the barn foreman live on the property walking distance from both barns.
Cherokee Valley Farm is also less than five minutes away from two convenience stores, a Sonic, and a Scooter's Coffeehouse.
